Alright. Let me go ahead and address a few things.

[d]: It's really annoying how all your shouts and comments are rude and/or annoying. Quit crying to me when the losers that read your site don't leave comments. If you don't have anything positive to say EVER, I will ban your home IP and every IP you've ever commented from. I'm really getting sick of it.

The guys I have been going out lately are tools, yes. But if you'll read along with the rest of us, they either don't last long, or they change their ways real quick. And if I remember correctly, you're the dumbass that keeps going out with the same girl who pretty much thinks YOU'RE a tool. So...shut up.

Ethan: Thank you for reducing the size of my header. Call me crazy, but it doesn't seem to be loading any quicker. Oh...and [d]'s friends are tools, too.

Car Update:

Thank you Twinnie for your contribution to the fund.

I dropped the car off this morning with my updated repair bank at $505. I need $9.10 more to cover the bill for today's work. If I don't have it, Mom can probably spot me...she'll just have to add it to the $3694 I already owe her for the car and registration :)

My French Horn is doing well on ebay...no bids yet, but I have 3 people that are interested and may bid before the auction is up. If not, we have a prospective buyer in the Beach area. That should take upwards from $2000 off my IOU to mom. Good stuff.

First date = first date. Second date = relationship??

So Joe* called tonight. I wasn't feeling particularly cowardly so I answered the phone. I decided to just go ahead and nip it in the bud. Even though we've only gone out twice, avoidance isn't really an option. Somewhere between date #1 and now, he became a fixture at Hooters...along with 5 of his closest friends. He also seems to have taken a liking to The Sandbar...Dianna's and my bar of choice on the weekends. ANYWAY. I couldn't go the avoidance route, so I confronted the situation, explained that things weren't going to work blah blah blah. And he says:

Well, I was told this was going to be a short relationship anyways...so whatever.

Well excuse the hell outta me. I wasn't really aware that I was in a relationship. He wouldn't cite his source and his bitterness wasn't really allowing him to say much anyway, so the call ended there...along with the "relationship."

*Again, Joe's name is not Joe....or chachi for that matter, but feel free to call him either. I'll know who you're referring to.

"Third Date."

Well it didn't go to Joe*, the Joe-selling-freak. It went to the 2.5th date guy. And it actually wasn't really a third date per se. Dianna called last night and invited me out with her and Kendrick and some of his friends. They were going up to Gator's and that's right behind Hooters so I stopped there on the way. 2.5th date guy (name to be disclosed at a later date) was up there with a bunch of people and I suggested they meet us out. They did. We had fun. I gave him a ride home and we'll be going out on Friday :)

So...what changed?? Not much really. He's a nice guy. I like him. And I suppose he does seem to have a little less zeal. Good stuff.

The donations (2) I received were family donations. In response to my October 13th post, Meghan and Brian donated $350 and my dad donated $150. Unsolicited family donations. Those are always nice :)

I have an appointment on the 29th...I guess that's tomorrow. The $500 will cover the work I'm having done tomorrow. I'm pretty sure they're doing the rear brakes, fixing the oil leak...I don't know exactly. They're prioritizing the list for me.

First of all,

I'd like to say how happy ecstatic I am that the MARLINS won the World Series. Sorry NY, you needed to be stopped. Of course, I wish it had been the Indians that stole the Series from you, but I can't have everything.

Now for the real post:

Off limits. 2 dates. It takes 2 dates for me to be totally annoyed with a guy and it takes 2 dates for him to become totally obsessed with me. . .apparently. I didn't go out this weekend but Dianna did and she spotted Joe* out at The Sandbar. I'd like to say first that I introduced Joe* to The Sandbar (after Dianna introduced it to me) and if Joe* continues going there. . . he's not going to be a happy camper because I won't be talking to him. Anyway. So Joe* was at the Sandbar and he actually SENT one of his FRIENDS over to Dianna to ask if her name was, in fact, Dianna. She said no and instructed the friend to leave her the hell alone. Atta girl!! Of course, there's always that one friend that you want to kick in the shins that will dime you out. . . and that friend was with Dianna last night. Michelle told Joe's* friend that her name was Dianna and 23 seconds later Joe* made a beeline over. He attempted smalltalk and got the brush-off. Lesson to Joe*: We've gone out twice. My friends are not your friends and neither am I anymore.

*I changed his name not to protect HIM, but to protect myself because I really don't want anyone to know who the hell he is.

    Little Momma.

    NicNat and I were being disruptive in class today. We were supposed to be having a test, but our teacher was a no-show and we had a sub. Anyway, we got yelled at. This one woman we'll call her Paula*, told the sub "not to mind [us] because we're 8th grade and that's just how [we] are."

    Whoa, there. I have never said ANYTHING to this woman (age 35ish) and I have NEVER been disruptive in class. I'm always respectful of my teachers (with the exception of today) and if I can't be nice to someone, I just don't talk to him/her. So where this "8th grade" thing came from, I have no idea.

    The teacher gave the class a 10 minute break so we could either leave or shut up :) I just decided to move to the front so I wouldn't be causing a disturbance with Nicole and everything was fine. I moved my stuff to the front and one of the girls behind me joked that I was a troublemaker...I joked that that's about what you should expect from an "8th grade[r]".

    Paula* overheard and said, "You know you might actually be in fifth grade. You're about to get on my last damn nerve Little Momma. You better watch it, the next thing you say, I'm gonna pounce on your ass."

    HAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHA. That's exactly what I did. Here this lady is calling me immature and she's threatening to kick my ass. I just walked out of the classroom laughing. What was I supposed to do? This is SCHOOL. I'm going to a technical school to study for a degree. I'm not going to sit there and go back and forth with some woman that's old enough to be my mother. Sorry.

    I returned to class after a sufficient amount of time and everything was back to normal. I participated like a good girl and that was that.

    Then Nicole got up after class and walked quietly over to Paula* and said, "Maybe next time you should be a little less of a hypocrite. You're sitting here threatening to beat her ass and we're the 8th graders."

    Paula*: I don't care.

    Nicole: Just because D's more intelligent than you..

    Paula*: ...You better keep walkin if you know what's good for you. We can take this outside...just keep walkin Momma.

    So. Yeah. Teacher came back in the middle of this and separated and NICOLE got talked to. I wasn't going to say anything to anybody about Paula* threatening me because I'm really not "8th grade" like that and I can handle myself. HOWEVER, if she's going to threaten to beat up me AND my friend (who she wouldn't stand a chance against in the first place) and then Nicole's going to get in trouble?? I don't think so. If Paula doesn't get punished I'll file a complaint...and maybe a police report.

    Too much to say.

    Saturday: I worked Saturday afternoon and then went to 2 birthday gatherings. I stayed at the first one long enough to have a good time, but left soon enough to avoid the "adult entertainment." I may be 22...but I think that kind of entertainment is less adult...more, uh, gross. So I went to party number 2. One of the girls from work and 15 of her closest friends were throwin down at the block and I joined them. I ended up leaving around 12:15 to give said birthday girl...said WASTED birthday girl a ride home. I didn't mind, of course.

    Sunday: I worked Sunday night. We played Game 2 of the World Series, some non-Cleveland football game (so I have no idea what teams played), and WWE wrestling on PPV. At least the WWE fans were somewhat balanced out by the REAL sports fans.

    Monday-Tuesday: Some guy that I've gone out with twice is stalking me. Sound familiar? What is it with these guys? The one I'm working on losing right now has been calling trying to arrange a third date. He knows the "2.5th date guy" story and said it seems like I tend to lose guys after two dates and he just wants to make sure he makes the cut. That sales pitch pretty much ensured that he didn't.

    Wednesday: In Freshmen Orientation today, the subject of the light rail came up. For those of you not in the Beach area, Hampton Roads is trying to get a light rail put in to ease traffic between Norfolk and Virginia Beach. It was on the ballot 3 years ago and I'll vote against it again. Our teacher asked why I wasn't in favor. I tried to avoid the topic but she kept on pressing and pressing and finally asked, "Are you one of those people that doesn't want a 'certain element' brought to your neighborhood." So....Eff it. "As a matter of fact, I am." It takes about $25.00 to get to VA Beach from Norfolk in a cab. It would be cheaper by bus, but would also take close to 3 hours. A light rail would only encourage and enable more people to "rail it" to the Beach. I don't like the Oceanfront being busy. I really enjoy the off season where the faces I see are the ones I know. I don't particularly enjoy tourists and I don't particularly enjoy crime. Granted, crimes are committed at the Beach anyway, as illustrated by the shooting a week and a half ago and one of my friends getting jumped in the 19th street municipal parking lot on Saturday night. BUT the more "elements" involved and present...the more conflicts are likely to arise. So yes. I am one of "those people" that doesn't want a "certain element" brought into my neighborhood. After the class was finished attacking my opinion and my stand, I pointed out that the rail issue will be on a ballot. I have the right to my opinion and I am a registered voter. If they disagree, they can save their breath and take it to the polls. It didn't pass the first time and hopefully it doesn't pass the second...or third.

    Look at this.

    Yeah, right. When life throws you a lemon, you pay out the a** for someone else to sweeten it.

    I took the Altima in for an exhaust check-up and an oil change. When it LEAVES the shop it will either have or still need:

  • A pipe put into the exhaust system to replace a phalange that broke off the muffler. That's $50 instead of the $300 it would cost to replace the muffler with an in tact phalange.
  • New wiper blades.
  • A tire rotation and alignment.
  • An oil change.
  • Something replaced or fixed to repair the oil leak.
  • Rear brakes.
  • Rear axels.
  • Some sort of check to see what the deal is with my coolant system.

    ...I'm SURE I'm forgetting something. Whatever. I'm accepting donations :)

    [edit] I WAS forgetting something. It needs accessory belts...alternator belt? and cooling belt.

    I just can't stay away.

    It all started with my "date." I've been seeing this guy I work with. Good idea, right? Apparenly not.

    So we went out tonight on our 2.5th (2.5th??) date. [The first time we went out was after work for some drinks and I count that as a 1/2 time.] Anyway, we went to see "House of the Dead" (DO NOT WASTE YOUR $7.50).

    When the movie got out, the night was still young and we went and had a beer at Chicho's Sandbridge. Good times. We talked blah blah blah. Then as we're leaving, he asks what I'm doing later. Homework...although I MIGHT get some calls and end up going out. He says, "just be safe." Being that this is the "2.5th" date, I shouldn't have to make excuses OR justify myself, but I feel better knowing that he knows I won't REALLY be doing homework the whole night and he's cool with it.

    So I got out. I'm having a good time...I'm eating some free pizza at Chicho's Oceanfront, and some IDIOT knocks my last 8 bites of pizza out of hand. I say, "DUDE!! You're KIDDING me." He's not. And he says, "F**K YOU." Whoa. I don't need to deal with that, and my phone is ringing anyway, so I step outside. It's the "2.5th date" guy. Apparently he's mad at me for "not wanting to spend time with [him]" and because he took it upon HIMSELF to go somewhere BY HIMSELF after we parted ways.

    HOLD UP. A. We've been out 2.5 times. B. We've been out 2.5 times. Are you JOKING me? I really don't need the drama, thank you very much.

    So I end that situation...or it may have ended itself because I'm pretty sure I got hung up on....whatever...it ended.

    Then, not even 3 minutes after I got in the door, Michelle calls. Apparently, those guys that had just begun fighting in the street as we were leaving the parking lot ended up shooting each other. Sucks for them...but I guess that's two less idiots to knock over my pizza.

    I looked at him like he was retarded and someone else spoke up and corrected him. He said he was having a bad day...and I can believe that. His pants were so high and so tight that no one in class was left wondering exactly where his boys were hanging out...if you know what I mean.
