How Twinnie Of Me.

Southern people (living in VA Beach, I use that term loosely) are NASCAR people. Driving in Virginia traffic, it's not uncommon to see 3 and 8 stickers sprinkled on cars as they pass. It's also not uncommon to see personalized plates in the Commonwealth because they don't come with an added fee. I understand all of these things. What I REFUSE to understand is why a person would advertise ON the license plate that the driver of the vehicle is a complete moron.

"3N8RULS"

Right. I know there is a limited amount of space for personalization of license plates. I get it. But there WERE enough spaces to be grammatically correct: 3N8RULE, 3N8ROOL, 3N8RUL, 3N8RUUL. I can forgive incorrect spelling. But the grammar. Come ON Hicks of VA.

To the driver of this vehicle: You're an idiot. You should have gone with a standard plate. I can tell you like 3 and 8; the stickers are enough. You're a hick. Thanks.

Mia's Acting Debut

Mia watches Stanley on Disney...yesterday, Stanley had a cold. She was "achoo-ing" all over the place. Today she added the "ah-ah-ah" on her own. I coaxed it out of her for a short clip :)

I'm so excited!!

And I just can't hide it!! Next mod, I only have school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Unfortunately it'll be some dumb English class...ENG 204-Critical Thinking. I'm pretty condifent that I'll do well in a critical thinking class (being taught by total idiots).

Dianna: This means that when you get back from vacation, we can go back to hanging out during the day!! We can take Mia to the zoo and do fun stuff before you go to work! Miss you, come home safely (now, please).

P.I.M.P.

I drove Rus' car to school today because it had more gas than mine :) Anyway, we got out at 10 and our teacher sent Nicole and I home to get videos to watch for the day. So we went and I thought to grab my drivers' license on the way out with the movies. We were driving along...50cent all LOUD and everything (Rus has a very nice system)...and a cop that was driving next to me initally, got behind me. Driving along, driving along...I turn on to some road and he turns his lights on. I wasn't speeding...I had my lights and wipers on...what gives? So he comes up to the window and tells me the plates are good, but they're expired in the computer. Riiiight. Thankfully I HAD my license and I knew where Rus keeps his registration...so he took it and updated it in the computer. But the thing is, he HAD to have run my (Rus') plates. Loud-arse 50cent with the bass bumping, dark tinted windows, rims...and he ran my plates when I wasn't doing anything illegal? Racial profiling...I guess I'll never know.

Malta is apparently located in the Mediterranean Sea south of Sicily.

B*tchcake.

So our new manager started this weekend. I had an unfortunate encounter with her at Waterside where she mistook my youthful (I was 19) enthusiasm for underage drinking. She was wrong, and she was a b*tch...and it turns out, she still is:

Fave Manager: I'm a little slow, it's from all the drugs I did when I was younger.
B*tchcake Manager: Oh, haha.
Fave: [Imitates Ozzy Osborne with unintelligible muttering in what MUST have been a British accent.]
Me: Oh! Did you hear that Kelly Osborne went into rehab??
B*tchcake: Noooo....I don't have time to follow that stuff. I'm a geek, I pretty much watch CourtTV, TLC, and news channels...[she obviously wasn't trying to sound like a geek, she was TRYING to sound "smarter" than me because of the cable channels she watches.]
Me: Yeahhhhhhhhhh....neither do I. I saw that on CNN. [B*TCH]

T.G.I.F.

I had lunch with Coco and her mom today. We ate at Friday's. Mia got loads of attention, of course. She's such a little entertainer. One of the servers liked her SO much, she gave her a sucker. HOW NICE. It would have been nicer if she asked ME, THE MOM, before she gave an 18-month-old a choking hazard/upper.

I had to be the evil mommy lady and tell my sweet little thing that she couldn't have it.

Other than that, good times.
